Like many of us, I got off track during the pandemic. Added some weight but also stopped going to the gym and doing much of anything besides sitting behind my computer or watching TV.
I had no idea how much the inactivity would affect me. So much so that when I started to get moving again, it was an uphill battle. The extra weight coupled with arthritis in the knees and hip kept me from returning to the activities I had been doing for years. This last January, I found Chair Yoga. Thank goodness! Some place I could start my journey back. At first it didn't seem like I was making much progress. But as I continued, I noticed being more flexible and getting stronger. I started sleeping better and feeling better overall... physically and mentally. The last couple of months, I began to share Chair Yoga with others! What a joy! Stay tuned for more updates.
